POSITION AVAILABLE: Practical Nurse (LPN)

COMPANY: Nitelines USA, Inc

WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time, Monday to Friday, typically from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., totaling 40 hours per week.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of one year of verified experience as a Practical Nurse.
  • Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program is essential.
  • Current state licensure and CPR certification are mandatory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver direct patient care in compliance with legal, ethical, and institutional standards, including patient evaluations and therapeutic treatments as directed by clinical staff.
  • Execute nursing responsibilities within the boundaries of current licensure.
  • Administer prescribed medications via various routes including oral, intradermal, subcutaneous, or intramuscular.
  • Assist in the medication distribution process.
  • Monitor and assess patient responses to therapies.
  • Conduct skin testing and perform venipuncture for laboratory specimen collection.
  • Document patient care activities accurately in health records.
  • Record diagnostic tests as instructed by healthcare professionals.
  • Process laboratory work and maintain organized filing systems.
  • Ensure compliance with Bureau of Prisons and JACHO policies regarding report logging.
  • Secure and manage sharps in accordance with institutional and national guidelines.
  • Support mid-level practitioners and physicians in chronic care management.
  • Review clinical records for accuracy and legibility.
  • Possess knowledge of chronic health conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and asthma.
  • Initiate emergency care as necessary following community standards.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating EKG and laboratory equipment.
  • Understand mental health disorders and screen for significant mood changes.
  • Provide basic first aid and guidance for common health issues.
  • Accept nursing assignments that align with educational qualifications and licensure regulations.
