Shipyard Coatings Expert

The United States Fleet Forces Command is seeking an experienced Plastic Fabrication Team Lead to join our team. As a Coatings Supervisor, you will oversee the application and manufacturing of coating materials for ships and submarines.

You will work closely with our production team to ensure that coating materials are applied and manufactured to the highest standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports to track progress and efficiency.

This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, as you will direct subordinate crews of up to 30 employees. You must have excellent problem-solving abilities and be able to work well under pressure.

• Oversee the application and manufacturing of coating materials
• Maintain accurate records and reports to track progress and efficiency
• Work closely with production team to ensure quality control
• Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity

• 5+ years of experience in coatings supervision or plastic fabrication
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
