Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team as a Technical Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for system problem/anomaly resolution, data trending, and performance analysis.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering subsystems, with experience in maintaining operational products and providing operations certification training. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and improve operations processes/products, investigate unexpected system signatures, and coordinate system maintenance tasks.

You will also provide on-call support to lead the resolution of system issues, develop and maintain operational training materials, and provide classroom lecture and system simulator training. Additionally, you may be required to obtain certification in at least one certified operator position and participate in rotating shift hours (12 hour shifts) and call support (1 week every 6-10 weeks).

Requirements:

A minimum of a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience is required. Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with CI Polygraph security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

This role requires experience developing and maintaining operational procedures, products, and training materials. Proficiency in Linux and scripting languages is also necessary. Interacting with key stakeholders, customers, and processes in the IR community is essential, as well as the ability to travel short trips 1-10 times per year.

Benefits:

Raytheon offers a competitive salary range of $64,000 USD - $128,000 USD, depending on experience level. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
