Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in dental hygiene and a passion for teaching and mentoring students. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical instruction, curriculum development, and assessment.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach and mentor students in the Dental Hygiene program
  • Develop and implement curriculum for dental hygiene courses
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide committees
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in dental hygiene education
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene or a related field
  • At least 2 years of full-time or equivalent experience as a dental hygienist
  • Current licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in the State of Wisconsin
  • Certification in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration
  • Laser training certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Dental Hygiene or a related field
  • Experience in curriculum development and assessment
  • Experience in clinical instruction and mentoring
