Pediatric Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at Soliant. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive physical therapy services to students with diverse needs, promoting their physical well-being and independence in the school environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Thorough Evaluations and Assessments
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify students' motor abilities, functional limitations, and areas of need. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, utilizing evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques to address students' unique goals and challenges.
Deliver Direct Physical Therapy ServicesDeliver direct physical therapy services to students in individual and group settings, focusing on improving motor skills, coordination, balance, and mobility. Collaborate closely with educational teams, including teachers, special education staff, and other therapists, to integrate therapy goals into students' individual education plans (IEPs) and support their access to the curriculum and school activities.
Monitor Student Progress and Maintain Accurate RecordsMonitor student progress, document treatment sessions, and maintain accurate records of services provided in compliance with state and federal regulations. Provide education and training to school staff, parents, and caregivers on strategies to promote students' physical development, safety, and independence in school and community settings.
Stay Informed and Participate in Professional DevelopmentStay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in pediatric physical therapy and participate in professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications- Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy
Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Valid Mississippi LicensureValid Mississippi licensure as a Physical Therapist or eligibility for licensure through the Mississippi State Board of Physical Therapy.
Certification in Pediatric Physical TherapyCertification in Pediatric Physical Therapy (preferred).
Experience Working with Children and AdolescentsExperience working with children and adolescents with diverse physical and developmental needs.
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal SkillsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Strong Organizational AbilitiesStrong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a TeamAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
