State Legislative Affairs Associate

**Job Description:**
The National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) is seeking a skilled State Legislative Affairs Associate to join our team. In this role, you will provide strategic, programmatic, and administrative support to our professional staff associations, including meeting planning, document maintenance, and customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative support to professional staff associations.
- Collaborating with association leadership and committees to develop programs, webinars, and online conferences.
- Conducting research and outreach projects on behalf of the staff associations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- At least two years of experience working with state legislatures, government, public policy, or other related fields.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Salary and Benefits:
- $57,235 annually.
- Flexible remote work policy with four days of in-person collaboration per month.
