The role focuses on patient-centered assessment and intervention for cognitive-communication, alongside specialized care in speech, voice, and swallowing as clinically necessary.
- Deliver outstanding direct evaluation and intervention as part of an interdisciplinary clinical care team, collaborating closely with physicians, allied health professionals, behavioral health experts, and integrative care providers.
Document patient care and provide educational resources regarding treatment methodologies.
Offer clinical treatment and guidance for patients and their families on effective communication strategies and cognitive support techniques.
Enhance the quality of care within the BRAVE Program by fostering an understanding of strategies that support essential components of TBI-related persistent symptom improvement, with a primary emphasis on cognitive functioning, auditory challenges, and communication skills.
Engage with colleagues in small group settings aimed at program development, quality enhancement, and/or continuing education initiatives as required.
