Job Summary

The Software Developer will assist in the creation and maintenance of software by working across departments to understand end user needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and test software to meet consumers' and clients' needs.
  • Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.
  • Produce efficient and elegant code based on requirements.
  • Test and deploy programs and applications.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve existing software.
  • Compile and assess user feedback to improve software performance.
  • Observe user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products.
  • Develop technical documentation to guide future software development projects.
  • Develop quality assurance procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience.
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in popular coding languages, including C#, Python, JavaScript, and Java.
  • Database application: SQL Server, Oracle, and NoSQL.
  • Client-side technology: React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
  • Web API.
  • Experience with GitHub or Microsoft Team Foundation Services.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing: AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of Ubuntu / Linux OS.
Physical Requirements
  • Requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
  • Must be able to use hands and arms for repetitive movements, such as movement of wrists, hands, fingers while typing.
  • May occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 10lbs.
