About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Thermal Engineer to join our Process group in Houston, Texas. As a junior level position, you will be responsible for thermal design and process engineering work for Fired Heaters, Electric Heaters, Waste Heat Recovery Units, and associated auxiliaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review design of Fired Heaters, Electrical Heaters, and Waste Heat Boilers
  • Develop and review datasheets and other documents for Fired and Electrical Heaters, Waste Heat Boilers, and associated components
  • Participate in 3D Model reviews and prepare Material Requisitions (RFQs)
  • Evaluate vendor quotations and prepare technical bid analysis
  • Coordinate technical queries and deviations with vendors
  • Participate in Management Estimate Review meetings and Engineering review meetings
  • Provide Pre-commissioning, Commissioning & Start-up support at clients sites
Requirements
  • BS degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in Process/Thermal design of Fired Heaters, WHB, and associated systems
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of Fired Heater systems
