MRI Technologies, a woman-owned company, is seeking a skilled Aeroshell Thermal Analyst to support the Orion spacecraft's reentry thermal analysis.

This is a critical opportunity to contribute to the thermal analysis of NASA's Orion spacecraft during its reentry phase.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform reentry analysis of Orion's thermal protection systems.
  • Utilize thermal desktop and other thermal analysis tools to support simulations.
  • Conduct Monte Carlo analysis for thermal performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with the Orion Drawing release process and perform checking activities as required.
Required Skills:
  • Typically requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Proficiency with thermal desktop and other thermal analysis tools.
  • Experience conducting Monte Carlo analysis for thermal assessments.
  • Familiarity with the Orion Drawing release process and related checking activities.
Desired Skills:
  • Previous experience in Orion Thermal Protection Systems analysis.
  • Experience working on NASA programs, particularly in thermal protection.
