Surgical Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Surgical Oncologist to join our team at Montefiore Medical Center. As a key member of our Department of Surgery, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of advancing the health of our communities.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in general surgery and surgical oncology, with experience in managing complex oncological patient issues. You will work collaboratively with our multispecialty group and the NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Manage inpatient and outpatient care for cancer patients
- Collaborate with existing surgical specialties to provide comprehensive care
- Participate in research and teaching activities
- Contribute to the development of clinical productivity incentives and bonuses
We offer a competitive salary of $325,000-$450,000 commensurate with academic rank, as well as a generous benefits package including 403b with employer match, 457, tuition reimbursement, long term disability, short term disability, life insurance, paid malpractice, health, dental and vision benefits and funds for CME activities.
