Join Our Team as a Surgical Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Surgical Oncologist to join our team at Montefiore Medical Center. As a member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals and contribute to the advancement of surgical oncology.

About the Position

This is an open rank faculty position, and we are looking for a candidate who is collaborative and versed in all aspects of surgical oncology. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and a passion for teaching and research.

Responsibilities
  • Manage inpatient and outpatient care for cancer patients
  • Work with existing surgical specialties to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in research and teaching activities
  • Contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who is Board Certified/Eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Oncology. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background and a passion for teaching and research.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $325,000-$450,000 commensurate with academic rank, as well as opportunities for clinical productivity incentives and bonuses. We also offer a generous benefits package, including 403b with employer match, 457, tuition reimbursement, long term disability, short term disability, life insurance, paid malpractice, health, dental and vision benefits, and funds for CME activities.
