About the Role
We are seeking an Associate Photographer to join our dynamic Photo Studio team.
As a vital member of our studio, you'll work closely with experienced photographers, assist with shoot production, and contribute to the smooth operation of the photo studio.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and break down studio lighting, grip gear, props, and other equipment needed for each shoot.
- Maintain photo bays, including painting and repairing of cyc and flats.
- Ensure photo/video equipment is properly maintained, clean, and in working order.
- Track and document any equipment issues, damages, or repairs and escalate if necessary.
- Assist the photographer in setting up and preparing the studio for shoots.
- Demonstrate foundational understanding and safe operation of power tools.
- Support the maintenance of studio facilities and assist with organizing special events as needed.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in a photo or video production environment, preferably as a photo assistant.
- B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- Working knowledge of Capture One, Canon cameras, and professional studio equipment such as Profoto and Broncolor.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work effectively with individuals of varied backgrounds, fostering positive teamwork and open communication.
- Problem-solving mindset and resourcefulness to tackle challenges quickly.
- Takes initiative and proactively addresses tasks and challenges, contributing to efficient workflow.
- Comfortable working under pressure, adapting to last-minute changes, and meeting tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
