Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workforce Development Professional to join our team at Equus Workforce Solutions. As a key member of our workforce development team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of participants and providing counseling and mentoring to help them achieve their employment goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess participant competencies, work history, educational attainment, skills, and abilities to identify challenges to finding employment and develop solutions.
  • Conduct regular ongoing individual meetings with participants to discuss job search, education, job retention, and/or job readiness.
  • Develop and implement individualized employment plans to help participants achieve their short- and long-term goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in participant files, including logs of supportive services issued.
  • Provide case management services to help participants prepare for employment that leads to self-sufficiency.
  • Facilitate access to training, education, and employment services, as well as job-specific information.
Requirements
  • Related Associate degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent work experience.
  • Related work experience in workforce development or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources.
