About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Obstetrics Technician to join our team at Queen of the Valley Medical Center. As an Obstetrics Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting patient care, birth certificate processes, and maintaining equipment and supplies in the Labor & Delivery Operating Rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in patient care and birth certificate processes
  • Maintain equipment and supplies in the Labor & Delivery Operating Rooms
  • Set up and scrub for surgical procedures
  • Perform clerical, order entry, and receptionist duties
  • Work cooperatively on the nursing team to support patient care
Requirements
  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Successfully completes scrub tech training (didactic and hands-on) or equivalent education/experience
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year Healthcare technician experience
  • Maternal/Child experience
