About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Obstetrics Technician to join our team at Queen of the Valley Medical Center. As an Obstetrics Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the nursing team in the Labor and Delivery Operating Rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in patient care and birth certificate processes
  • Maintain equipment and supplies
  • Set up and scrub for surgical procedures
  • Perform clerical, order entry, and receptionist duties
  • Work cooperatively with the nursing team to support patient care
Requirements
  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Coursework/Training: Successfully completes scrub tech training (didactic and hands-on)
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year Healthcare technician experience
  • Maternal/Child experience
