We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Petaluma Valley Hospital. In this role, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or LVN and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

About the Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and individualized care to patients across various age groups, from infants to geriatric patients. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your critical thinking skills to prioritize tasks and make sound judgments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign measurement, assistance with activities of daily living, and support with medical procedures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A California Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
  • Experience in training programs or work settings, preferably in intensive care nursery (ICN) environments.
