Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical guidance for construction initiatives, which includes analyzing blueprints and specifications, formulating construction timelines, and liaising with subcontractors.
- Support project management functions, such as creating project budgets, overseeing resource allocation, and tracking project milestones.
- Guarantee compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and safety protocols throughout all projects.
- Oversee project modification requests, ensuring that all changes are thoroughly assessed and sanctioned.
- Engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members to keep everyone updated on project developments and any arising challenges.
- Participate in project discussions and collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of all tasks.
- Assist in crafting and executing project plans and schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgetary limits.
- Identify and address project risks, ensuring effective mitigation strategies are in place.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project engineering or a similar role.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with proficiency in evaluating project data and recognizing trends and areas for enhancement.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with government contracts and compliance is advantageous.
- A commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
