**Job Summary:**
As a Registered Nurse in our Outpatient Services, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring a smooth transition from pre-operative to post-operative care.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Admit patients to the pre-op area and perform thorough assessments
* Receive patients from surgery and evaluate their needs, providing individualized care
* Assess and document patient status, evaluating nursing goals and care plans
* Perform pre and post-operative teaching and education

**Requirements:**
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed to practice in the State of Nebraska as a Registered Nurse
* Current licensure from a compact state requires Nebraska to be declared as their primary state of residence within thirty (30) days and must also obtain a Nebraska temporary permit or nursing license
* Current BLS certification required at time of hire
* Level Two Food Handlers Permit required within 7 days of employment
* ACLS and PALS certification required within 90 days of employment
* Previous post-surgical care experience preferred
* Progressive and/or critical care experience a plus
