Nurse Care Specialist

Avera is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our RN Nursing team. As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide direct patient care and perform nursing assessment skills and treatments in accordance with registered nurse standard nursing practice for patients of all ages in the pre-operative, surgical and post-operative setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and perform nursing assessment skills and treatments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless patient care
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or multistate licensure in a compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 6 months of hire
