Job Title: Oncology Chemotherapy Nurse

Christie Clinic's department of Hematology-Oncology is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our team. As an Oncology Chemotherapy Nurse, you will deliver care to cancer patients and be part of our commitment to excellence and cutting-edge treatments.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with nursing standards and as directed by provider.
  • Prepare equipment and aid provider during treatment, examination and/or testing of the patient.
  • Observe, record and report patient's condition and reaction to medication and/or treatment to provider.
  • Act as a liaison between the patient and provider regarding complaints, concerns, etc.
  • Instruct patient and family regarding medication, treatment instructions and patient education.
  • Administer IV's for Chemotherapy and/or Phlebotomy.
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Evidence of annual completion of health-related courses and/or seminars with a certificate and/or CEU's
