Job Summary

Honolulu Disposal Service Inc is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our company's fleet of vehicles, including Front-End Load Trucks, Rolloff Trucks, Tractor Trailers, and Scout Trucks.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in hydraulic and engine repairs, with experience working with automatic and manual transmissions, suspension, steering, and brakes. We offer a competitive hourly wage plus overtime, based on experience.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on all company vehicles
  • Identify and diagnose mechanical issues with company vehicles
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in hydraulic repair
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in engine repair (gasoline and diesel)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
