Job Summary

Healthcare Staffing Plus is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and positioning patients, selecting anatomic and technical parameters, and producing high-quality images of the body.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations
Select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce high-quality images
Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination
Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media, and develop film in an automatic processor
Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS
Maintain a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, and film storage area

Requirements

MRI experience, GE preferred
ARMRIT or ARRT MRI certification
BLS and ACLS certification
National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Ability to stand for extended periods
Strong technical skills
Knowledge of medical terminology
Passionate about patient care
Requirements include COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster
