Position Overview

The Radiology Technologist Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operations of SMH Imaging Services Departments, focusing on providing exceptional patient-centered experiences during diagnostic or fluoroscopic exams in the Radiology, CAT Scan, or MRI Departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the technologist in preparing exam rooms, positioning patients, and ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care.
  • Comfort patients in the Image Servicing Department holding areas, greeting and escorting patients and visitors.
  • Contribute to the smooth operation of the imaging department, ensuring that exams are conducted efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Hospital in-patient experience preferred, with a Radiologic Technologist Student preferred.
