Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

At Trustwell Living of Raytown, we strive to provide exceptional care for our residents. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission of person-centered care.

Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to and convey our philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
  • Receive and give report from the previous shift.
  • Review assignments with designated supervisor.
  • Read staff communication records and maintain familiarity with resident records as required.
  • Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, ADL's, environmental orientation, and assistance with other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
  • Provide services as indicated on resident service plans, including but not limited to bathing assistance, toileting assistance, transfer, and mobility assistance.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Observe changes in resident status, needs, or preferences and communicate them to all established policies and procedures.
  • Record resident information as required.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and adhere to procedures for fire, life safety, disaster, security, work, safety, and other emergency procedures.
Requirements:
  • Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program with current license.
  • At least 6 months experience in a similar position.
  • CPR/First Aid certified preferred.
Education:
  • Attendance at mandatory in-service training.
  • Maintain CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • Meet in-service training hours required for job classification and position.
