Reports To: Executive Director of Business ServicesJob Objective: The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, processing, and reconciling payroll reports for all district employees.Key Responsibilities:
  • Review job positions and supplemental pay records in Visions for accuracy.
  • Input all federal and state withholding elections, direct deposit authorizations, and annuity deduction forms into Visions.
  • Ensure all timesheets are complete and accurate prior to entering data into Visions.
  • Calculate payrolls, ensuring accuracy in gross pay, federal and state taxes, and ASRS calculations for each payroll cycle.
  • Prepare payroll tax deposits and manage ASRS and annuity deduction payments, along with quarterly tax and retirement reports.
  • Reconcile five non-payroll bank accounts using QuickBooks.
  • Calculate sick leave and vacation payouts in accordance with district policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Assist in the preparation for the annual audit, including reporting on compensated absences.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Employment Terms:

This is a twelve-month position with a starting salary at Grade Seven on the Classified Hourly Salary Placement Schedule. Employee benefits are provided in accordance with Board policies.
