Job Summary:

Nexstar Media Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced TV Director to lead our live and taped broadcasts. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content for our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct live broadcasts, ensuring a smooth and professional on-air experience.
  • Design and create graphics and shot sheets for newscasts, enhancing the visual appeal of our programming.
  • Technical direct when assigned, overseeing the technical aspects of our productions.
  • Collaborate with the news department and production team to develop and implement effective broadcast strategies.
  • Work as a liaison between departments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Perform other duties as required, such as assistant directing and studio camera operation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience directing in a television or production facility.
  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art equipment and techniques used in producing and directing live and taped broadcasts.
  • Valid driver's license.
