Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients' mental health needs, developing individualized treatment plans to address their unique requirements.
- Administer medication as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosing and monitoring patient responses.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting healthy coping mechanisms and stress management techniques.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring comprehensive care for patients.
- Document patient progress, maintaining accurate and detailed records of treatment plans, medication administration, and patient outcomes.
- Current RN license in the state of Maryland.
- AHA-approved Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
- Experience in psychiatric nursing, with a preference for those with experience in adult mental health settings.
- Associate degree in nursing or higher.
