About the Position:
Equanimity Integrated Behavioral Health and Wellness LLC is seeking a licensed and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our team on a part-time, fee-for-service basis. As a Contract Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality psychiatric care to individuals across the lifespan, with the option to provide telehealth services via Doxy.Me or work in-person at our Baltimore location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe medication and provide medication management.
- Provide therapy to individuals as part of treatment, when applicable.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and case managers as part of the treatment team.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Provide telehealth and/or in-person consultations based on client needs and preferences.
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and available treatments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active PMHNP-BC licensure in the state of Maryland (or eligibility for Maryland licensure).
- At least 2 years of experience in psychiatry or behavioral health, preferred.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms.
Compensation:
- $80 for follow-up visits.
- $100 for new patient visits.
- Flexible scheduling with the option to work remotely or in-person.
