Medical Director for Skilled and Senior Living Facilities

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Medical Director to lead our team of healthcare professionals in providing high-quality, complex care to residents and patients across various settings. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for collaborating with non-physician practitioners and other interprofessional team members to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide medical direction and oversight to nurse practitioners and physician assistants to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Conduct regular audits of medical orders and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
  • Identify new growth opportunities and partnerships with skilled facilities and senior living communities.
  • Participate in company-wide call processes to respond to acute changes of condition and prevent avoidable hospital transfers.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of medicine and a Doctor of Medicine degree.
  • Two or more years of administrative leadership experience in healthcare.
  • Clinical medical experience of seven years or more preferred.
