Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Specialist to join our team at StretchLab Long Beach Marina. As a Fitness Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and leading guided group stretching classes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Exceptional Client Experiences: Provide one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and group stretching classes that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Build Client Relationships: Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions, build strong relationships, and promote client retention.
- Drive Studio Growth: Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele through effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Ensure Client Safety: Ensure client safety by enforcing StretchLab policies and safety rules, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Attend Staff Meetings and Training: Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations to stay up-to-date on the latest stretching techniques and industry developments.
- Handle Client Concerns: Handle member concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Support Sales and Marketing Efforts: Assist sales associates and the General Manager with studio tours and sales, as needed.
- Maintain Social Media Presence: Maintain a strong social media presence to promote client membership and retention.
- Ensure Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain all equipment to ensure it is available for client use at all times.
- Implement COVID-19 Health and Safety Guidelines: Understand and implement all COVID-19 health and safety guidelines to ensure staff and client safety.
- Passion for Stretching and Mobility: Love of boutique fitness environment and passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility.
- Preferred Background: Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provide hands-on training with clients, or certification in massage therapy, personal training, physical therapy, Pilates, or yoga.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people, and fantastic communication skills that exude empathy.
- Professional Work Ethic: Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable, and adhere to company policies.
- Flexologist Training: Must attend a 3-day Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 3 days of in-person/hands-on training.
- Competitive Base Salary: This position offers a competitive base salary based on experience and performance.
- Incentives and Bonuses: Incentives offered for time with clients, commission paid on sales, and opportunity for bonuses based on studio performance.
