The primary responsibility of the Automotive Guest Service Advisor is to deliver an exceptional customer experience while contributing to the sales of automotive repair services and tires. This role plays a significant part in the business's growth through effective sales presentations and comprehensive product knowledge.
Compensation: $15.00-$18.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:- Complete the required training program to effectively implement the sales process.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for customers both over the phone and in-store, engaging them, scheduling appointments, and addressing their needs.
- Assist management in various guest care tasks, including work order completion and register support.
- Act as a secondary key carrier, responsible for essential opening and closing duties.
- Adhere to all financial transaction policies and collaborate with management to resolve customer service issues.
- Communicate effectively about all products and services offered.
- Follow company policies and governmental standards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized waiting area for guests.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid driver's license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) are necessary.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to write accurate sales work orders.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Availability to work during days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- This position operates in an automotive service environment with exposure to noise, weather conditions, and various automotive-related substances.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and collaborate with team members.
