Assembly Technician

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician or individual with mechanical aptitude to join our Global Pump Manufacturing Team at our Davison, MI location. The primary responsibility of this role is to complete assembly functions identified and specified, as well as position parts and sub-assemblies using templates or reading measurements, with precision and accuracy.

• Assembly and Fabrication: Perform routine assembly functions based on written or verbal instructions, ensuring proper construction of products.
• Quality Control: Read and evaluate assembly instructions to assure proper construction of products, adhering to company and regulatory agency health and safety standards.
• Team Collaboration: Cross-train to learn multiple functions in the production environment, working effectively with others to achieve team goals.
• Equipment Maintenance: Load and unload equipment and supplies as directed, ensuring the shop and other areas are clean and organized.
• Adherence to Policies: Comply with Quality and Environmental Policies applicable to daily work activities, adhering to company and regulatory agency health and safety standards.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Mechanical experience with power tools is a must.
• Skills: Ability to use measurement tools and devices, strong time management and organizational skills.

This role requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

The starting hourly rate for this position is $15-$18 per hour.
