Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician or individual with mechanical aptitude to join our Global Pump Manufacturing Team at our Davison, MI location. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing assembly functions, positioning parts and sub-assemblies, and serving as a working team member.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine assembly functions based on written or verbal instructions
  • Read and evaluate assembly instructions to ensure proper construction of products
  • Cross-train to learn multiple functions in the production environment
  • Adhere to company and regulatory agency health and safety standards
  • Comply with Quality and Environmental Policies applicable to daily work activities
  • Load and unload equipment and supplies as directed
  • Clean and organize shop and other areas as required
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Mechanical experience with power tools is a must
  • Ability to use measurement tools and devices
Expectations:
  • Ability to work effectively with others
  • Ability to multi-task in a changing environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet job requirements
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
Compensation:

$15 - $18 an hour to start.
