Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Specialist to join our Electrical Engineering department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting project deliverables, providing electrical assistance, and updating existing legacy technologies in our plants.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Electrical Engineering department in project deliverables, including troubleshooting, project engineering, and project management.
- Provide electrical assistance, including troubleshooting, project engineering, and project management, to all plants.
- Update existing legacy technologies in different plants to current standards.
- Responsible for electrical project management, including scheduling, financial, and management of contractors' work.
- Responsible for labor-hour estimation, work planning, scheduling, coordination, and reporting.
- Update schematic drawings in AutoCAD as required.
- Program automation and controls systems and improve existing PLC programs, including servo drives and A/C drives.
- Responsible for the design, test, commission, start up, recondition, and work with current equipment configurations, and to engineer new technologies.
- 4-year degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- 4+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
- Valid passport and willingness to travel.
- 4+ years of experience using AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, including Project.
- 4+ years of experience with electrical safety code and its application in industrial wiring and power distribution.
- 4+ years of experience working with PLC and HMI applications, including RSlinx, RSlogix5, 500, 5000, and Factory Talk View.
- 4+ years of experience with PLC and HMI systems design, programming, commissioning, and start up, including system hardware selection, I/O panels, and subsystems layout and wiring.
