Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Appalachian Regional Healthcare, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, count, sign, store, and issue incoming and/or outgoing materials, supplies, linen, and equipment.
  • Take cycle counts, inventories, and assist in compiling stock reports.
  • Key all stock issues into the computer system.
  • File daily flow of documents for Stores.
  • Provide transportation for supplies, lab specimens, and materials to and from various facilities in the area.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Education: High school diploma preferred.
  • Minimum Work Experience: Over six (6) months' work experience preferred.
  • Computer experience required.
  • Familiarity with receiving, supply, and distribution procedures.
  • Required Licenses/Certifications: Must be a licensed driver in this state.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and unrestricted driving record, to be checked annually.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate information effectively to others orally and in writing.
