Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team at Viejas Casino & Resort. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for protecting our assets and providing a safe and secure environment for our guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patrol casino floors to prevent and detect crime, and to provide a visible presence to deter potential threats.
  • Warn violators of rule infractions and apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
  • Assist in conducting preliminary investigations, preparing written reports, and networking with local public safety agencies.
  • Handle medical calls, escort money transfers, and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact with guests and team members in a professional and positive manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid armed security officer certification required.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
