Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse LPN to join our team at HCA Florida Citrus Hospital. As a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing lab tests, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist with procedures, monitoring, and other functions as directed by the physician or RN.
- Perform lab and procedural tests within the LVN/LPN scope of practice, after demonstrating competency.
- Document patient care in the medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Current licensure as a vocational nurse or practical nurse in the state of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- IV Certification from a state-approved course.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting is preferred but not required.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
