Licensed Practical Nurse LPN- Nights

The Licensed Practical Nurse LPN- Nights is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient-centered care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based care to patients, collaborating with the RN and other care team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Assist with procedures, monitoring, and other functions as directed by the physician or RN.
- Perform lab and procedural tests within the LVN/LPN scope of practice, after demonstrating competency.
- Document patient care in the medical record, providing timely and thorough updates.
- Serve as a resource to department staff, students, and volunteers to promote quality patient care.
- Current licensure as a vocational nurse or practical nurse in the state of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- IV Certification from a state-approved course.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. maximum, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
- Vocational School Graduate.
