Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients with neurological disorders and diagnoses, including Neuro Psych patients, Neuro Surgical cases, general Medical Surgery patients, and cases of Chronic Heart Failure.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the physical, functional, cultural, social, economic, developmental, spiritual, vocational, and leisure dimensions of human responses to actual and potential health problems.
- Collaborate with the inter-professional team to assess needs, set goals, plan interventions, provide care, and evaluate outcomes.
- Participate in education and training programs to stay up-to-date on the latest medical-surgical nursing practices and technologies.
- Contribute to a healthy work environment by serving as a mentor and role model for nursing colleagues, students, and others.
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of employment.
