Job Title: NDT Level II Technician

Job Summary:
Jet Aviation Staffing is seeking a highly skilled NDT Level II Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing inspections on aircraft components using various methods, including Eddy Current, Magnetic Particle, and Liquid Penetrant testing.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform NDT Level II inspections on aircraft components using approved methods and techniques.
  • Maintain certifications and perform inspections on various articles.
  • Utilize methods such as fluorescent penetrant testing.
  • Work from detailed procedures and instructions to process parts for non-destructive testing and complete required record keeping.
  • Set-up, operate, and perform Process Control Checks on NDT equipment.
  • Interpret, evaluate, and report on NDT test results.
  • Perform wheel breakdown, stripping, cleaning, and build back to RTS.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customer service attitude.
  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with applicable technical data.
  • Presents a clean and neat work area to customers facility cleanliness and general housekeeping.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of current experience in non-destructive testing within an aerospace environment.
  • Currently or previously certified to NDT Level II in Eddy Current, Liquid Penetrant, Mag Particle Testing in accordance with NAS-410.
  • Must have documented hours for Training & Experience per NAS-410 Level II.
  • Ability to lift pounds as needed, standing and bending for continuous periods of time.
  • Knowledge of repair station procedures and use of paperwork in relation to repair documentation.
  • Ability to work on all lines and products independently and provide guidance to team members on all parts and processes within the Department.
  • Airframe & Powerplant Certificate (preferred).
  • Current and valid Drivers License.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
