About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a critical role in providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the OR suite for patient admission under the supervision of the Anesthesiologist/RN.
  • Maintain supplies and equipment for anesthesia patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide quality care.
  • Perform various clinical functions to support Anesthesiologists and nursing staff.
Requirements
  • High school graduate with diploma or GED.
  • CPR certified.
  • 2-3 years hospital experience/training.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
Working Conditions

May be exposed to hazardous materials and life-threatening diseases. Performs tasks involving exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissue. Ability to lift/move and transfer patients. May be required to transport heavy objects.
