Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to a diversified population, including assessment, treatment, and documentation of patient progress.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Update documentation with training and assistance from other staff, utilizing our electronic medical record system, Wellsky.
  • Participate in initial remote interviews and final interviews at our office in Sacramento, where additional forms will be completed.
  • Work on a per diem basis, with each visit consisting of drive time and approximately 20-30 minutes of therapy.
Requirements
  • One year of experience in a Hospital or Skilled Nursing Facility in the United States.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Ability to provide additional documentation, including a driver's license, SSN card, TB test, physical exam, auto insurance, CPR/BLS card, immunization record, and Covid-19 vaccination card.

Work Environment

As a Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work on the road, visiting patients in their homes. We provide PPE and do not take Covid-19 positive patients at this time.

Experience
  • One year of experience as an OTA in a Hospital or Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Preferred experience in Home Health.
License/Certification
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
