Position Overview:
The Sales Associate will be responsible for driving sales of destination, enhancement, and lifestyle products by delivering exceptional customer service and education. This role includes participating in all activities essential to the smooth operation and upkeep of a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:


- Drive sales across all product categories
- Maintain current product knowledge and address customer inquiries
- Stock and replenish merchandise
- Coordinate product exchanges and transfers
- Price merchandise accurately
- Arrange displays to enhance sales
- Complete sales transactions and manage cash accountability
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized store environment
- Fill tanks and conduct inspections following company-sponsored training
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management


Qualifications:

Previous customer service experience is required; six (6) months of sales or related experience is preferred. Being a certified Scuba Diver or Dive Instructor is highly desirable. If not currently certified, candidates must complete at least the academic requirements of a scuba course within the first 90 days of employment. A combination of education, certifications, and work experience may be qualifying.

Applicants should possess an overall understanding of personal computer operations, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal abilities. Candidates must be willing and able to work collaboratively with a diverse group of internal and external customers and vendors, and have the flexibility to work a schedule that meets retail needs.


Physical Requirements:

This position requires the employee to be on their feet 100% of the time, with the ability to bend, squat, lift/carry 40+ pounds regularly, climb ladders, and access all areas of the store. Candidates must be able to read, write, count, and perform basic arithmetic.
