About the Role:

Fusion Technology is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer - Senior to join our team as part of the LAN Central contract. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex telecommunications networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement telecommunications networks, including voice, data, video, and wireless services.
  • Analyze and develop network specifications, system requirements, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper implementation of network services.
  • Develop and implement network security measures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including hardware and software upgrades.
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to junior team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in telecommunications, with at least 8 years of local area network experience.
  • Experience in complex applications involving all phases of telecommunications network design, implementation, and analysis.
  • Experience in managing the evaluation and cost estimation of voice data WAN services from telecommunications carriers.
  • Active Secret clearance with IT-I sensitivity.
  • Hold one of the following IAT Level II or III certifications: CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or associate), GCED, GCIH.
  • Hold computing environment certifications: CCSE NGX, CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, SCNA, CCSE NGX Plus NG with AI, CCMSE NG with AI, CSMSE NG with AI Plus VSX, NSA, ESE.

  • Location: Texarkana, TX
  • Type of environment: Office Setting
  • Noise level: Medium
  • Work schedule: Schedule is day shift Monday – Friday. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
  • Amount of Travel: Less than 10% travel.
