Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at the IDA Center for Computing Sciences. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, administering, and maintaining multiple data, voice, and video telecommunication networks, systems, and software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement network architectures to meet business requirements
  • Administer and maintain network systems, including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure meets business needs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure the network remains secure and efficient
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 6 years of experience in network administration and engineering
  • Advanced knowledge of IP-based network and telecommunication system design, administration, and support
  • Experience with Cisco Nexus platforms and NX-OS, Cisco VoIP, and ASA firewalls
  • Current relevant certifications such as CCNP and CCDP
