**Job Overview**

Schnackel Engineers, Inc. is a mid-sized, family-owned company that values quality, efficiency, and clear communication. We are seeking an experienced Lead MEP Engineer to join our team.

**Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year**

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of experience in MEP/FP engineering consulting to develop mechanical plans and specifications for architectural projects across North America using AI for MEP software.
  • The successful candidate will have expertise in HVAC load calculations, ductwork, pipe sizing, and code compliance, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • As a lead engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating with clients, the design team, and consultants to ensure designs meet client vision and resolve conflicts.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • An ABET-accredited degree in Architectural Engineering with a Mechanical emphasis or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on HVAC systems.
  • Advanced proficiency with Building, Mechanical, and Energy Codes.
  • Engineer-Intern (EI) credentials in Mechanical Engineering and ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) credentials.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, including prioritizing tasks and multitasking.
