Construction Engineer III

Longenecker & Associates is seeking a highly skilled Construction Engineer III to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical aspects of construction and maintenance projects are executed in full conformance with approved project documents.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor facility maintenance and construction activities to ensure compliance with approved project documents.
- Provide input during scoping, design, execution, and project closeout to ensure baseline documents are accurate and design documents are adhered to.
- Expedite project execution by identifying issues, coordinating technical solutions, and providing timely guidance to the constructor through approved procedures.
- Lead and mentor junior field engineers and engineering technologists in their design review, pre-construction coordination, and construction oversight activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
- 6 years of practical work experience or 14 years of industry experience.
- Current registration as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) is highly desirable.
- Expert knowledge of construction engineering principles, including conducting field verifications of construction work and enforcing compliance with drawings, specifications, national codes, and standards.
- Proven ability to suggest, develop, and implement process improvements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
