Overview:
This role is a crucial component of the plant's supply chain operations.

The individual collaborates with production teams to ascertain the necessary resources to fulfill the production timetable and coordinates with corporate production planning and procurement personnel in a collective effort to secure the required materials to adhere to those timelines.


Responsibilities:


Formulate and disseminate a production timetable aligned with customer requirements, shipping deadlines, and scheduling protocols for the lamination manufacturing process.

Generate associated work orders for the production reporting systems utilized by shop floor personnel.

Collaborate with the shipping department to establish and relay shipping timelines for components for which the company is responsible.


Evaluate, interpret, and oversee current and prospective customer demands and their implications on the production timetable, direct material inventory, and process capacity.

Participate in and assist in managing the product launch process from a supply chain viewpoint.

Track and communicate the effects on the supply chain stemming from production performance, both favorable and unfavorable.

Produce forecasts, purchase orders, and delivery timelines for direct material suppliers related to the lamination process. Liaise with the receiving department to synchronize deliveries with the receiving and production schedules.

Oversee part master data, including bills of materials, revision updates, and new part introductions.


Effectively communicate changes in demand and their associated impacts on schedules, direct materials, and planned customer shipments in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to the manufacturing process.

Monitor, manage, and report on compliance with customer delivery requirements as reflected in customer portals and systems.

Supervise and manage production run lengths and inventory levels to align with inventory budgeting objectives.

Develop and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the planning and demand management aspects of the supply chain.

Adhere to all corporate EHS policies and procedures as well as relevant governmental regulations. Exercise sound safety judgment and awareness at all times.

Conduct all necessary cycle counts accurately and within the designated timeframe, then input data into the appropriate systems.

Direct and coordinate the activities of employees within the logistics function.

Possess the authority to modify production schedules concerning part sequencing, run lengths, or timing.

Manage and apply guidelines regarding purchase order quantities and submission frequency to suppliers.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager or other leadership personnel.

Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory for this position, with a two-year degree preferred. Additionally, the Supply Chain Coordinator must possess a minimum of one year of experience in data entry and/or material planning.

The individual must demonstrate the ability to learn internal computer systems.

They must also exhibit a high level of accuracy and possess strong verbal and written communication skills to maintain positive interactions with production staff and suppliers.

The individual must show proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
