Master Data Specialist

Valvoline is seeking a skilled Master Data Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date master data, ensuring compliance with business rules and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Create and maintain master data, including customers, vendors, and materials, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
- Analyze data against standards and work with business areas to correct problem areas.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of master data standards and processes, and provide expertise to business areas to facilitate data maintenance.
- Collaborate with business areas and resource groups to ensure understanding of master data requests, processes, and standards.
- Maintain supporting documentation in compliance with established record retention requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree preferred)
- Experience in master data or relevant business
- Experience in SAP or other ERP systems, such as JD Edwards, Oracle, or similar
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, and Outlook
- Proficient in both oral and written communication skills
- Strong mathematical skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
